Questions
What’s in the DIY kit?
A pre-drilled 24 × 36 in birch panel, the tees bagged by color (with spares), a placement guide in numbered sections, and hanging hardware.
How long does it take to build?
An evening or two. Each hole takes about 1,000 to 2,000 tees, so allow about 1½ to 5½ hours, depending on the hole. Each kit page gives its own estimate.
What’s the difference between the DIY kit and built for you?
The DIY kit is $149 and you build it yourself. Built for you is $299: the same piece, built by hand and ready to hang when it arrives. Both ship free in the US.
Is it a good gift for someone who doesn’t build things?
That’s what built for you is for: the same piece, finished and ready to hang.
When can I order?
Kits aren’t on sale yet. Choose Get notified on the kit you like, and we’ll email you when it’s available.
How does it hang?
It comes with hanging hardware. Every piece hangs wide except the Roadside Par 4, which hangs tall. It’s about 1 in deep, so it sits close to the wall.
What are the tees?
Real wooden golf tees, 1-5/8 in long, colored from top to tip, not just on the head.
Are the pictures photographs?
They’re detailed renderings of each finished piece, made from the kit’s exact tee layout. The colors of the real tees may differ slightly.
Can you make something custom?
Yes: any hole on any course, or anything else you’d like. Tell us about it on the Commissions page, and we’ll reply with a price.
Is this affiliated with the courses?
No. golf-art is independent. Each kit is original artwork, and isn’t affiliated with, licensed, sponsored or endorsed by any golf course, club, tour or tournament. Course names only identify the hole shown.
Do you ship outside the US?
Not yet. Shipping is free within the US.
